The club was founded in 1970 by four people of like minded interests, membership quickly grew as others became aware of it's existence.

We are situated between Burnley in Lancashire and Skipton in North Yorkshire in a small town called Earby.

Battles from almost all the periods of history are re-fought by the club using small detailed figures to represent the historical armies.

The club meets twice weekly on a Monday and Thursday evening.

Newcomers are welcome young and old, but due to the small size of the club's venue the Membership is restricted to sixteen people.

Junior Members under the age of sixteen must be accompanied and supervised by a Senior Member.

The club operates a No Smoking Policy.
