Aragorn makes a final heroic move to contact Uglúk and calls a heroic combat; due to his command ability all good within 10cm also have an extra attack. Uglúk and Aragorn alternately call heroic combats against each other. All Uruk-hai with 10cm receive extra attacks due to Uglúk having the command ability too. The Rohan are again reduced, but take some Uruk-hai with them. One Uruk-hai who is carrying Merry makes a run for it, but Gimli pursues, making a heroic move.

Gimli continues to chase the Uruk-hai making a heroic move to keep up with the faster moving creature. Uglúk continues to call heroic combats, but Aragorn kills him. Eomer calls a heroic combat with devastating effects on the remaining Uruk-hai. Legolas sets off in pursuit of the Uruk-hai that Gimli is chasing.

Aragorn being free of combat now calls a heroic move, as does Gimli which gets him into contact with the Uruk-hai that is carrying Merry. Merry is thrown to the ground, when it turns to fight Gimli who kills it. The field is thinned out, but a pair of Uruk-hai sneaks past to pick up Pippin once again and they run for cover.
